Ok, a break in the action for some laughs. I just finished reading John Feinstein's book "A Season on the Brink," the book he wrote embedded with Bob Knight and the Indiana Hoosiers for the 1985-86 season. It was the season right after the infamous
chair-throwing incident. I've never been a huge fan of Knight, but the book was great, mostly due to the access Feinstein was given and the uncensored account he gave. (If you're an NFL fan, his "Next Man Up" is a MUST read). I had heard there was an mp3 clip of
Knight chewing out his players floating around the internets, and what I found was even better. First, 9 minutes of
outtakes from some golf video someone asked him to do...I almost fell out of the chair. Then his
Top 10 Soundbites from ESPN gives you a good idea of his feelings about the media.
Have a good f*#$%&@! weekend.
