Thursday (March 29th): I went to class then came back and Amanda and I hung out. We watched a movie "Tenadious D and the Pick of Destiny" and I thought it was super lame. Amanda and I made a late night run to the video store to rent School of Rock because I felt that Jack Black needed to redeem himself to me after that film and Amanda had never seen it before. I also rented the Michael Moore documentary "Roger and Me" - which I highly recommend. I had to watched it in my economics class my senior year and I thought it was interesting.

Friday (March 30th): I didn't do a whole lot after class and slept a bunch. Amanda came over around 9:30, we picked up and snuck in Taco Bell into the late night screening of Blades of Glory. It was hilarious. I would see it again. We hung out at the apartment and that is about it. I found out that I was nominated for a Webbie (Webster University's take on the Oscars/Academy Awards/Grammys where students in the School of Communications enter their work and it is judged by those within the field then you are nominated for a Webbie with the potential, obviously, to win.)

Saturday (March 31st): I woke up later than I had wanted, got ready and made my way to Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. I had volunteered to help out the eco-village and help spread the word about a non-profit organization, Reverb, that one of the Guster guys and his wife founded in 2004. It is a really good organization and I am glad that I got to be a part informing fellow college students about what Reverb is doing to lessen the negative impact (especially bands with touring and their emission of CO2) on the environment and its efforts to try and lessen the terrible effects of global warming. I basically went around passing out literature about the organization and trying to sell Guster - "Kiss Me I am Carbon Neutral" stickers for $5 which allows concert goers to offset 300 miles of CO2 emissions or offset a year of dorm electricity CO2 emissions. The Format opened and we got to go watch the Guster set from the side of the stage which was awesome! Shift organic products and other environmentally concious companies that manufacture products or help to spread the word of being environmentally concious had some of their free stuff at the eco-village such as key chains made from recycled computer parts, bookmarks, and soy lip balm. Along with Shift Organic Smoothie drinks were given away. I got an Campus Conciousness Tour Eco-Team shirt, an awesome Shift hat and an awesome pass. We got to meet Guster afterwards which was awesome and 2 of the other volunteers were awesome to hang out with - esp. John who I hung out with the whole night.

This is my favorite photo of the night:

Sunday (April 1st): I laid low and didn't do awhole lot. Procrastinated and do a little homework.

Monday (April 2nd): I went to class then that night I ran to Pop's and watched Melee's set then left. I got a free Melee poster and a bunch of stickers!

Tuesday (April 3rd): I went to class then came home and did a bunch of homework. Not too exciting.

Wednesday (April 4th): I went to my morning classes then I went with Emily (my brother's girlfriend) to a private OK Go show because she won a radio contest. They gave us free food, an open bar and OK Go played a handful of songs acoustically then we got a photo with them and left. We got a parking ticket. Oh well. It was a cool little concert. I then went onto the Pageant and got in line for the Snow Patrol/OK Go/Silversun Pickups show. Amanda showed up right before doors opened and we scored 2nd row spots. The Silversun Pickups pretty much sucked, OK Go ruled and Snow Patrol were impressive. Amanda and I left, went back to my apartment, made a late night run to Steak and Shake, came back to the apartment and watched Say Anything which was on tv, then went out and she snagged me a large Fray poster from a place we had our eye on where it was displayed. It is seriously HUGE.

Thursday (April 5th): I went to class, Amanda came over, we got McDonald's, and then she snagged a large Mayer poster for me from where it was displayed as well.

Friday (April 6th): I went home for the weekend. I got a haircut, cut my great aunt's lawn while admiring my breathe (it was that cold), that night my parents and I went out to eat.

Saturday (April 7th): I woke up early, took my computer to a family friend to get fixed, mowed my grandparents lawn, went grocery shopping with my family then that night was my grandma's birthday dinner. We ordered a bunch of Papa John's and sat around my house. It was fun.

Sunday (April 8th): I went to church with my family then we went to my grandparets house for a huge Easter dinner. I took a nap then headed back to St. Louis.

Monday (April 9th): I went to class, procrastinated, hung out with Amanda, watched Running with Scissors, then my family came up for the Webbies ceremony that night. We went to the ceremony. I didn't win. Oh well. Next year I will enter more work than this year and I plan on being in the class that does production/PR for the ceremony. That night Amanda and I got McDonald's, watched Children of Men, then I went to bed.

Tuesday (April 10th): I went to class. I came home and didn't do a whole lot. I did some homework, went to the Date Auction, came back and did my tv commercial storyboard then went to bed.

Today I went to class, interviewed a professor for the story I have to write for my reporting class, hung out with Amanda. We got junk food and came back and watched Gilmore Girls before she went to work. I sat around and didn't do a whole lot. I took a nap, Jess came over and her and Beth watched Lost. I did some homework then I did a late night run with Beth to Schnuck's. I need to go bed.

Artist of the week:

I got her new album a couple weeks ago. It drops May 1st and is excellent!
