Saturday (March 17th) - I had an event/advance screening for TMNT and we decked out the theatre for the event. We had a green carpet leading into the theatre kiddie bags with TMNT memorabilia and green beads for everyone. I ate at Chipotle with Amanda then headed home. That night my aunt had her birthday dinner at my grandparent's house.
Sunday (March 18th) - I woke up, went to church, went grocery shopping then headed back to St. Louis.
Monday (March 19th) - I should have started on my project for my vis comm class, but didn't and instead procrastinated and was extremely unproductive.
Tuesday (March 20th) - I hung out with Amanda then went to Artmart in the rain and got supplies to make my project. I stayed up til around 3am working on it.
Wednesday (March 21st) - I hung low, got my presentation together for class and wished my aunt a happy birthday.
Thursday (March 22nd) - I did my presentation then came home and didn't do anything. It felt nice.
Friday (March 23rd) - I laid around and that night I got into Blueberry Hill (a 21 venue here in St. Louis) and worked merchandise for Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers and it was awesome! Jess (their tour manager and Stephen's cousin was amazing) and the opener, Sara Bareilles, was incredible. Plus, her tour manager was really cool as well and we had a good chat about the music industry and what not. I helped her do inventory, she gave me a free t-shirt, and said since I did so well that if I was gonna actually go to the Nashville show tomorrow that she would put me on the guestlist. I talked to Stephen for a bit and he read my shirt (it had a New York Times feminist article on it). I left the club around 12:30 and came back to my apartment to Amanda and her drunk friend. We got McDonald's then came back and stayed up to 5:30am while my roomie/friend came in plastered. We had fun. We made a late night run to Vintage Vinyl to get our photograph into front of the marquee (a musician/white rapper from Webster played an instore on Thursday that we went to and he is Beth and I's new obsession).
Saturday (March 24th) - I woke up around 11:15am, got my stuff together and Amanda and I headed back to my house in So. Illinois. We got to my house then left shortly after to head to Nashville to see Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers again. They were awesome, but the crowd sucked ass. They were pretty much lifeless. We drove back and got in around 4:30am.
Sunday (March 25th) - We woke up early and it sucked. My parents came home from church and we went and got passport photos for London along with some lunch. We came back and Amanda and I left shortly after.
Monday (March 26th) - I went to class, hung around and did a whole lot of nothing, my friend Jess came over and hung around while I made lunch for Amanda and I. She came back that night and we had dinner. Beth made fresh fruit salad again - YUM! Jess and I watched (and made fun of) The Hills while Beth was gone to RHA then I was unproductive again.
Tuesday (March 27th) - I went to class, then came back and made some business notes, Amanda came over and we hung around then Beth bought us dinner since she said she owed us when she was drunk. I want her to get drunk more often, so I can get free stuff. (I love you, Beth!) then we came back to the apartment and I busted ass to finished my press kit and make and study my business notes.
Today I woke up at 6:30am after staying up til 2am studying for business. I went to my reporting class, took my test (it was still kind of hard) then came back and finished my press kit, went to vis comm, came back and hung with Amanda then tried to go to Western Union and ended up in harlam. I turned around because I felt uncomfortable and did not want to keep looking. I guess I will have to do that tomorrow.
I am tired and I need to vacuum my room and clean my bathroom and do some homework.
I have 2 bands of the week.
The opener for the Sixers - I loved her and her tour manager was awesome to me!
