IT IS SPRING
I love the springtime. Pretty much the only thing better than springtime is summertime. And it's soooo close! Five more weeks until classes are done. I think I am going to go home between classes and exams, because honestly, i only have three exams. I don't have to stay at BU for 10 extra days just because I have dumb tests to take. I don't know about anyone else, but I only study the night before for exams. So ha.
You know how I stayed up till 6 am writing an essay last week? I reread it after I wrote it and I thought it was so shitty but there was obviously no way I was going to revise that sucker because I just did not have time. So I turned it in and fully expected to get somewhere in the C+ range and that I would just do a better job on the revision.
A fucking minus bitch! That is correct. I got an A-. My professor must be retarded or something. Whatever. I don't really care as long as I get an A in that class.
I also did a lot better on my second Beaches and Shores test. The class name sounds like a joke, I know, but it's actually really hard for a 100-level course. Sooo much information to learn! But yeah. For the first test, I knew maybe 25% of the questions, was pretty sure but still uncertain on another 25%, and guessed on about 50%. Haha it was so atrocious. I ended up with a 71, but that was scaled 7 points so I had originally gotten a 64. This time, I would say i knew cold about 75% of the answers so I hopefully I did better this time!
French is hard. It sucks. So much work for that class...it's rather obscene. I can't really tell if my teacher likes me or hates me. The French are so ambivalent. Tonight I have to read like 40 pages (en Français, bien sur) and prepare two presentations for class tomorrow about ther reading, do a bunch of grammar excercises, and something about watching a film? I dunno, I have no idea, the syllabus is both in French and out of order, it makes me feel retarded.
Aaaaand I have this huge research essay due for history (also a 100 level course with a ridiculous amount of work, I don't get it) but he never handed out any kind of informatio sheet. He just told the class by word of mouth. But i am always late for that class and I basically missed all the explanations for the essay, including due dates, length, subject, etc. I e-mailed the TA and asked her to explain it to me but she just told me she'd "talk about it in class tomorrow". Um, we didn't even have class the next day. It's a MWF class and i emailed her on a Wednesday night so "tomorrow" was a fucking thursday. I hate these idiots.
Anyway, I just figured I'd do a school-related update. I'm pretty much totally sick of it. College is hard. Wah wah wah.
