Just sitting here with Al at his place, listening to all these recordings...fuck, it's blowing me away.
Being so heavily involved in the business side of things, I forgot what it was to be a fan. More importantly, I forgot what a big fan of Richard's music I am. Listening to "laughtracks", which he recorded by himself three years ago is what really got me. It's a better recording than anything we've done as a band, and you could say the same about another song he's done by himself, "ragtime". We really need to get better as a band.
