hoo-rah
After being behind on reading my LJ friends list for a long ass time I am finally caught up. Very exciting. I am also in mexico on a small island near cancun called Isle Mujres. My second day on said island (saturday) I thuroughly burnt my wisconsin skin which hadn't seen sunlight in months. This resulted in reading out of the sun completely for two days. We've rented a house on a cove so Reading on the porch was still wonderful and beautiful but it was nice to get back to the beach today. Man I love being in the ocean. Words cannot even begin to describe it. Today my dad also figured out how to make the wi-fi in the house work which has allowed me to catch up on LJ. Rest assured that I planted my ass on the computer only after I had spent the day outdoors and needed some inside, not roasting time.
I have a big update to make in the near future about the genderqueer wit whom I am currently greatly enamored. And what's the best part of being enamored with her you ask? She's poly so while she's figuring her shit out I can be enamored of other people without her thinking it negates my patient interest in her. Yay! (this also applies to after she's figured shit out really, but it's especially awesome right now because it helps prevent the bad pining)
That is for another post though. Now I think I will wash the sand out of my hair and go to sleep to the sound of the ocean.
