I write these stupid words...
So, last night I went out to have a drink with a friend from work. What I didn't realize about this was that I hadn't eaten more than just a sandwich all day. So, after just three drinks, two Leinekugal's Creamy Dark beers and a glass of Scotch, and I was done. It was bad. I woke up at 5 in the morning with a hang over...ack! So, moral of this story? Don't be lazy and not eat and then go drinking.
This morning I woke up and showed off what exists of my residence to another friend from work and his wife, then had some breakfast and off to go get registration for my car taken care of. I went to the bank and the teller, a cute finance major, and I had a pretty good conversation as she was doing my paperwork. She's supposed to look me up on this local social networking site, so we'll see how that goes. It was a fairly positive experience in my life for right now. I normally am really good at talking with strangers, but it usually never goes anywhere beyond just talking with them while I'm doing business with them.
In other news, my motherboard in my computer didn't die along with my power supply, which failed rather spectacularly with a poof of smoke and a pop. So, now I'm going to go home and fire it up and continue what I was doing to it more than 5 months ago.
