I actually read the first Sookie Stackhouse book this week and liked it a lot. I read it in 24 hours haha! I was surprised that certain key characters are missing, and some have much smaller roles. But I liked it enough to read the entire thing in 2 sittings!
For those of you who have read the books, I have a question: Would it be a good idea to just skip the second book? Is it that different from the show? The first book is almost exactly like the first season, so I always knew what was going to happen, which kind of sucks. I want to keep reading them, though. Mostly for MOAR ERIC.
In other news, Mad Men has been freaking perfect so far this year. I love Peggy Olsen so very much. &hearts
