New Office...
Tomorrow I have my first day at my new Private Practice Office. It's actually in a building that was designed for businesses, unlike my last place, which was just a converted house. This location may be better that the Music Row area. It's appears to be safer: but a bank down the street was robbed the other day. Just the same, the police apprehended a jail escapee near my old office last week! No place is safe!!
I stayed up late and went to the movies by myself last night. I saw Farenheit/911 - the Michael Moore documentary. The theatrer was filled with young people, who were really into the whole experience. At the end they all applauded enthusiastically. On the way out I heard someone say exactly what I was thinking - someone ought to be passing out voter registration applications!! The Dems, especially. At least the John Kerry campaigners.
My cat is asleep next to me in her box. She's paralyzed and had to spend the day in her own excrement. My girlfriend's out of town, and she usually gets home before I do to rescue the cat from her discomfort. I hate it!!! I hate her suffering...and the inconvenience and expense too. I bought her a wheelchair and haven't been able to put her in it yet. I will soon.
I forgot to call the Vet to see if she can stay there this weekend while I go work (my other jog - playing with Don McLean),
DAMN!!!
I better go and make a to-do list NOW!
