current events
it has been awhile but alas here i am, writing with news...
let's see. i was hired at Chops Bistro & Martini Bar...a new upscale restaurant on Lake Avenue and Vets..i am very excited to be working there. the managers are very cool and the prices are pretty high..so hopefully ill make lots of money..the menu looks fucking excellent..it's sort of a steakhouse but with other cuts of meat and lots of fresh seafood...i would have an extremely hard time ordering if i were to dine there...
what else? oh yes. my babies. for those of you who don't know, we have an adult male jackson's chameleon, named Jackson, and a juvenile female jacksons'chameleon named Karma. they are my little babies, along with our bearded dragon, Gimpy.. anyhow, Karma just reached sexual maturity and has been taking a certain interest in Jackson. Our second bedroom is dedicated to the reptiles...complete with vines all over the walls, three cages dedicated to exotic tree frogs and two cages dedicated to the chameleons...we let jackson have the run of the room, he climbs in and out of his cage as he pleases (though he usually makes it back in by sundown so he can sleep there). the point being, lately he has been just hanging on right on top of Karm's cage. Before when he would visit her, she would turn black and freak out. Now, she curiously sits right beside him on the inside of her cage. ever since he discovered that she is taking a liking to this, he hasnt left her cage, not even to go sleep in his own. and hes been doing his head-jerking which means "i want your young, sexy body, karma" so i think they may be ready to make love. however, i want her to wait. she's still pretty small and i would rather her grow some more so her body is big and strong and so that her babies are numerous. so i think for their christmas present we are going to let them have sex. and then we'll have spring babies! yay. the average litter size for their species is about 20 babies, and we can sell them for about $75- 100 each. they have to be housed separately after 4 months, otherwise we'd keep them all. however, im sure we'll keep at least one. how could we not keep at least one product of their love?
speaking of christmas, brandon and I are going to be taking a trip to steamboat colorodo for dec 12 - 16. Finals end the 9th, so it will be the perfect way to blow off steam (no pun intended) right after the hellish week of finals ends. it will be the perfect romantic getaway...snowskiing, iceskating, hot chocolate sipping, hot tub soaking, gondala riding, etc. the place we're going to stay is soo nice....Steamboat Resorts:The Lodge please humor me and go look at those pictures...i absolutely cannot wait!
i think we are also going to go camping this weekend and eat some acid..so thats something to look forward to before school begins..ugh, it makes me nauseated just thinking about. im so not ready...
