8 flights and 2 boat rides later...
I HAZ INTERNETZ! with private destop in out hotel room!

I didn't belive it was possible to hop 4 different major cities in a day. I woke up in Hong Kong. At 730 am we ended up in Macao via boat  and lost  176HKD in casino land! 2 pm we did a trip around Zhu Hai which meant church visits, market visits and at 600 pm checked into our hotel in Shen Zhen then off again eating/ window shopping.

Dear Dad, thank you for killing us.

I should list the cities that I visited in the last 21 days :/
We did do 3/4 of Taiwan in 5 days to start off.
I was actually prepared to dislike Taiwan somewhat since my dad is extremely nationalistic and of course he made many many comments. Out of all the cities we've hopped, Taipei and Taichung remain my favorite. I did have issues with the amount of sugar they put into their cooking though.

Taiwan's culture is also a little strange. Its a mash-up of western, Chinese and Japanese. The first thing I noticed was the 7 Eleven convini shops across the landscape. Like its Japanese counter part, you can seriously live off of them. You can get ready to eat bentos, buns, onigiri and oden. Pay your parking fees and bills and of course all your household and personal hygene items are obtainable there.

Next there are the hotspring resorts. There is a huge district dedicated to it. We ended up in a Japanese style resort which has a private onsen connected to your room and a public one. I was too chicken to go into the public one. According to reports from the brother and the dad, it is extremely nice with a nice view. *sad face* I wish I took some pics of that resort and especially of the private bathroom. It was built pretty authentically from what I can tell.

I guess my favortie part of Taichung and Taipei are the night markets. it starts at around 7-8 pm and ends at around 2 am. They are just tiny alleys of local cuisine and delicacies interlaced with boutiques. I swear everytime I pass through a night market I gain like 3 pounds. OMG the milk teas and bubble teas. I can never taste the ones back at home without crying.

Anyways, this was aupposed to be a brief hello, and belated happy holidays!
With love darlings ~<3
