so sleepy...
at mom's work.
why you ask? i have no car. yes, that's right folks, i slid on some ice saturday night and while all the memories of driver's ed whooshed through my brain, i could not gain control of my car and slammed into the curb. (but hey, i don't feel so bad, i was switching lanes to avoid a cop and a truck, turns out, the truck broke his axel). plus, everyone was doing it (ha.)
so, yesterday, i take my little, broken baby do the dealer. mom picks me up. then i have to get a ride to school (how i ever lived without a car, i have NO idea). then i get a call....bent wheel/strut/control arm/need new bearings. $1500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so, i'm carless and needless to say, thankful that things weren't worse. hopefully i didn't fuck my car up for good. and kim brought up a good point, its good that i just got new tires, otherwise, it probably would have been worse.
so, today is a tough day. waking up at 6:30, having to take the bus from downtown to 1604 (eek! i've never done that) then finally leaving 1604 at 8:15 p.m. oh lord. thank god they have coffee in this place. and a lot of it.
it's almost like a blessing in disguise, at least i can study, right?
although, i'd rather be in bed....
i'm going to do that now. study, not sleep. my mom is fresh out of blankets and pillows at her office...(although she did say i could sleep as long as i didn't snore....)
oh yea, i'm COLD.
