Miscellaneous Ramblings
First off, getting a tumblr may not have been the best idea in the world for someone who procrastinates as much as I do, especially when you consider the fact that uni is starting again soon. I had plans of writing, making icons, and giving my bedroom a long overdue clean over the weekend, but Tumblr sucked me in, and I just ended up making Hellstrom/Shosanna graphics and re-blogging things I haven't talked about on here for ages (eg Life on Mars, Hot Fuzz, It's Always Sunny, Monty Python, etc). I like it, but I'm dreading just how easily I'll be able to distract myself with it when I should be doing assigments and the like.
Oh, and speaking of Python, a two-part documentary about them aired here recently, and it not only re-awakened the slight, er, "thing" I have for Michael Palin, I now possibly ship Palin/Cleese slightly. Yeah, I know, but it's not my fault that Eric Idle (at least, I think it was him) mentioned that Cleese was always eager to hop into bed with Palin. *sigh* I can remember the days when I didn't actively ship RPF pairings (which is yet another thing I can blame Basterds for ;p).
Also, in other news, damn it, Skins. Not only was the last episode the best from the second generation, I now have a favorite ship, and a character who I love almost as much as I adored Chris Miles from the first generation. This wasn't supposed to happen. Now when the second generation ends (in four measly episodes time, only three of which will feature this character), I'm going to end up missing one of them. It hurt enough the first time around, and while I won't miss the second gen as a whole anywhere near as much as I miss the first, and I won't miss Katie Fucking Fitch as much as I still miss Chris (although, that would be difficult considering the fact that Chris no longer exists in the Skinsverse in any capacity, unless it's AU fanon), it's still probably going to make me cry. Hell, I've watched the last episode three times since Friday, and every single time the ending had me on the verge of tears. Katie, why did you have to end up being so adorable?
...Yeah, I get too attached to fictional characters.
Finally, just to lengthen this entry a bit (I just felt like posting about absolutely nothing, for some reason), have a meme:
