A2A Episode 3
So, that was... okay, I guess. I don't know if it's just because I've had a shit day and feel lousy (which is pretty much the reason there is no picspam this week), but overall it just left me feeling underwhelmed.
It just felt like one of those type of television episodes that are more about setting stuff up for the rest of the series (eg. just how bent Supermac is, the continuence of the rose theme, as well as the general LoM-style mind-fuckery, etc) than the actual plot of the episode itself, which, in the case of this episode was solved as soon as they introduced the psychoanalyst. There were a few good moments, I suppose, but on the whole it just wasn't as compelling as the first two episodes. Although, like I said earlier, my lacklustre reaction could be due to my mood while watching it.
I might re-watch on Friday to see if it leaves a better impression on me, but for now I'll just say that apart from the preview for next week (which was an extreme WTF moment - even though it does herald the return of the camel hair coat (I was going to type "The Coat", but I think we all know that there is only one coat truly deserving of capitalisation, and it's not on this show), the resounding emotion I have after watching it is blah.
