I love lovecraft. If he wasn't such a social cripple, and I lived in the 1920's, I would have married him. And then I'd have borne his be-tentacled children, and I'd be the mother of the Great God Cthulhu. Dude, I need caffiene...Yeah, Borders is a pretty decent place to work. It took me a while to start talking to people, but I've gotten some great friends out of that job. And as for people being insulted about not getting invited...TJ never comes to social events, Jared rarely comes...I've never seen Bela anywhere, but then she's still in highschool. I rarely show because Oleh and I always forget...or he just forgets to tell me until we're all ready missing it. ^^;; Anywho...ever seen Dagon? It was based on the Shadow Over Innsmouth, by Lovecraft. Some great creatures in that...and masks made of stretched-out human faces. What's not to love?
It's great, especially because it contains a woman with octopus-parts that eats human flesh. Yum.
I figured, but 'ya never know. Sometimes, depending on the closing staff and who they know, we do spontanious things. ^^;
He is. Though I could be a little biased, being that I'm dating him. And for the record, don't believe all the gossip you hear in that store..being that I have a suspicion a lot of it involves me. XD
Oh, don't worry. Hang around long enough and you'll get earfuls upon earfuls about everyone and their mothers. Sometimes it's sickening, sometimes it's just plain entertaining. I think the gossip about me is hilarious.
Spyware. It'll start up, prompt me with "yes" or "no" (no question asked) and bring up window upon window of pop-up ads and spyware until windows crashes and nothing is usable. I'm going to have to re-format it or something. I'll probably try one last time to pull some irreplacable data (photos, word documents, etc) from it and then just erase that puppy.
Dude, I kinda wish. Because that would be some juicy gossip. Actually, there was one rumour that Tara got from Libbi (albeit misinterpreted) that somehow he had given me an STD that turned out to be maggots. ...I was telling Libbi some jokes about what happens when you give your boyfriend head after coming home from his job at the morgue, and we determined that maggots are 'the Other STD'...I commented on her Myspace about it, and Tara read it--and somehow took it to mean that I had said disease. Libbi put that one to rest, but had to tell me hilarious she thought it was.
Then there is the entirely true gossip, like the time Oleh walked into work with giant welts on his neck and Ray thought he had leprosy. He was even more amused when he found out what they were really from, as he didn't take me to be a biter.
I'll tell you--we work in the equivalent of a freaking highschool, with all the rumours and gossip that fly around there...
Hahaha, awesome. I suppose that's everywhere though, no matter what age people are, they always like to gab aboot others.
