(no subject)
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I'm really digging on my new job. Everyone seems pretty awesome. Certain people are more awesome than others (Oleh, Matt, Noelle, Dash, Mike, Ken), but no one's a dick. And I'm able to do my job without anyone breathing down my neck. That always bothered me at Blockbuster, it was so small that someone was always watching, whether it be a coworker or a manager. Unless I was working by myself, haha! I'm so glad I don't work there anymore.
I was thinking that if I were to have a get-to-gether or somesuch somewhere down the line, and I were to invite people from work, would certain people feel bad that I didn't invite them? I mean, would TJ or Bela feel think, "What a jerk that James is!" Hm.
I really liking having hour lunches, though there is no pay, I'm finally reading agayne, I had stopped for so long, but now I read for at least one half hour a day, and even more if I read before bed. Speaking of which, I have a new favorite short-story (did I ever have one in the first place? >_>) It is "A Shadow out of Time" by Meester Lovecraft. It's part horror, but mostly just weird and interesting. You feel kinda creeped out in the beginning, but then kinda go "Huh, hmmmm! and it becomes more like reading aboot space exploration instead of say...the holocaust. I love Lovecraft's style, it's so extravagant and large. Kinda like Hunter's. Odd.
Awesome and I saw "The Hills Have Eyes" re-make last night. I was mightily impressed. I was afraid it was going to be like the "Texas" remake, which was just dumb, but twas not so! It had good gore, though not much of it. And great music, acting and cinematography. There were some scenes that really pushed the limit in American horror too. This one (I won't spoil it) scene had two taboos going on simultaneously. Good stuff.
I really do think Stef and I will be together for a while, it just seems like we get along very well. Yeah.
Work soon, gonna listen to some music and play vid-ya games.
