Madeline L'Engle passes away
On Thursday, Madeline L'Engle passed away at 88 in a nursing home in Connecticut.
A Wind in the Door and A Wrinkle in Time were very important mythologies for me as a child. Only later did I read the other two in that series, A Swiftly Tilting Planet (which I did a book report on and really didn't like much) and Many Waters (which I enjoyed immensely, but it had a very different flavor than the first two books).
