Finally home :D
I knew it, the one thing I missed the most was my laptop, and a close second is the bathroom. And against every single relative's expectations, I made it back without anything happening. I also discovered that with my level of chinese and the airport people's level of english, it's pretty damn difficult to communicate with either language.
I didn't realize until someone asked that I last time I went back was 8 years ago, and even though I say I'll go back in 2 or 3 years - chances are I won't. And that means that this time probably was the last time I'd see my grandparents. Geez, I'm glad I didn't think of that before I got on the plane in Harbin. No, I'm pretty sure my dad's mom will live until she's like 120 even with her chain smoking.
I hate travelling backwards in time zones. About 2 hours ago, I was shoving my way through chinese customs, 12 hours later, I'm waiting in line at canadian customs, but it's the same day, same time.
Alright, 24 hours without sleep is about as much as I can do. Btw, I got you your almond milk Katie, but they opened it at beijing so I drank it.
