Copper thieves strike again.
I thought it was a joke when I heard it this morning, but the copper was stolen off 3 of our air conditioner units again. There is all sorts of damage. The insurance company thought it was a joke when I called. I won't rant about the street people again today, but I will say that having an office in the ghetto has made me much less compassionate about the "suffering" of these people. They got maybe $4 for the copper they stole and it is going to cost us at least $500 to fix the damage. This makes 5 copper thefts since I've worked here (almost 11 months)
EDIT: At least 13 other places were hit by copper thefts last night. That's what the cop said when he came to do this week's police report!
