When I was approximately 4 years old, a man at my (Southern Baptist) church asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up. I said that I would be President of the United States of America. To be completely honest, I couldn’t pronounce my R’s until I was nearly five, so the last word probably sounded more like “Amewica”.
The man’s response was “What makes you think you can be president? Presidents are men.” My response was “My grandma [gwandma?] said I can.”
Anyway, I want to declare my run for presidency in 2020. I’ll be old enough then.
