All Gabriella could see around her were the shades of pink, green and red as she laid back against the person she was with. The plaid sheet underneath them, moved as she turned her body to nestle against him. She felt a kiss on the top of her head and she gave a small smile as her arms wrapped around them.
One of the hands, fingernails painted in a deep black color, smoothed the side of the white and red flowered dress as she sighed contently. This was nice, the sun was poking through the clouds and everything seemed perfect. For once. She knew it was probably the calm before the storm but she didn't even want to think about that right now. All that mattered was she was here. With her boyfriend. The concept still seemed foreign to her at times.
She glanced up and was greeted with the boy biting his lip, which made her laugh a little before she rested her hand on the back of his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. He'd made this day perfect for her, he argued that she had deserved a nice birthday and he was going to make it just that.
She played with the hair that gently curled on the back of his neck and rested her head against his shoulder, before gently whispering into his ear.
"I love you."
There was a loud sound as Gabby jolted up in the bed, glancing beside her to the sleeping Franky, whom she'd had sleep in her room for the fourth night in a row.
