poem

so, i was bored in english today. this is the third poem of mine to reference the red dress. one other is in an old entry and one was written on paper and i don't have a copy of it. i don't think that anyone knows what the red dress is. my last poem about it also talked about a black dress. that one should be a bit easier to guess what it means. anyways....

"Fuscia"

The red dress is tainted now,
Black ink strewn in with the crimson.
Swirling and striping,
Whirling and whipping.
The red dress is in the closet now.
Hidden away where few can see.
It shouldn't be there,
Locked away and denied.
Burn it.
Embrace it.
Nothing has come but pain
From the momentary happiness it provides
Before it returns to its hiding place.
The happiness of roses in the air.
But the roses are gone now.
Dead?
Withering?
Hidden in any case.
Thoughts and desires,
Oxymorons.
Dresses and roses,
Insignifigant metaphors
Whose meanings none know.
Not even you
Know what is truly true
Anymore

i drew a little picture to go with it, but i have no scanner so i will draw a bigger picture and have my friend scan it. maybe.
