Right in the eye

An aside:
'Penetrating Orbital Trauma' is a nicely medical way of saying 'you got stabbed in the eye with a pencil'.
Also, possibly a good name for a band.

And my first grade of the quarter is in! I got a 10.75 out of a possible 10 points on my first lab quiz in Med Micro. Yep. That's me. Occasionally I can do some serious whoopin up on science.

I finally set up a Netflix account. I have a movie buying problem, you see. And kind of got tired of buying movies I wanted to see, watching them once, then having them take up space until I donated them to the Red Cross. So I'll give it a free trial period. Already watched Ocean's 13 and Eastern Promises. The former was mindless fun and I liked it much more than Ocean's 12. Eastern Promises was excellent and didn't make me quite as high and low as History of Violence did. Viggo Mortensen was very good, and Naomi Watts reinforced that she's a very excellent, understated actress. And it's always nice to see Sinead Cusack without Peter Wingfield's head in her... well never mind.

On another note, I haven't been to see a movie in literally months. I'm taking suggestions! The movies that are out now that I'm even remotely interested in are..

-Atonement
-Beowulf
-Cloverfield
-I Am Legend
-Sweeney Todd
-The Orphanage

Atonement is probably out because I don't like paying $8 or so to bawl my eyes out in public. Input! Ideas! Someone want to come to the movies with me? My treat?
