Adelaide Cousland. Human Noble warrior, dog fan. Clse to her father and her dog. Tends to be very politically minded, and chose her alliances due to whoever could help her march on Denerim for revenge against Howe: rescued the mages, rescued Eamon's wife, himself, and his child, patched together elf and werewolf, let Branka use the forge and put Bhelen the throne. Kept Loghain alive and in her party as she figured he was worth more as a pawn against Orlais than Alistair. Chose to let Morrigan and Loghain have a child to save her life. Married Anora, via the help of some mods.
Fiera Brosca. Pissed off dwarf comonder. Fiera's been trying to protect her sister since she was born, hates bullies, and hates upperclass types. Tends to be a real firebrand - rescued the mages, killed Eamon's son, put Bhelen on the throne, and let the werewolves slaughter the elves. Romanced Alistair, but told him to stay a warden. Left Anora to rule, but killed Loghain for his trechery. Died in the battle fo denerim because she would rather return to the stone than take Alistair's life.
Kiera Tabris. Sorrowful city elf rogue. Kiera was eager to begin her married life, but Shianni's kidnapping by a nobleman put an end to that. Profoundly depressed, she did not want to become a warden until events tipped her hand. Did not feel like she belonged in the wardens, nor did she feel like she belonged with the elves. Backed the dalish though they did not thank her (nor did they recognize her mother's vassalin, which she had been told may one day save her life), saved Eamon's child using the blood of his wife, backed Harrowmont in respect for the dwarven culture, backed the the mages over the templars. She talked faith frequently with Leliana, who she eventually became more than friends. Attempted to become friends with Zevran, but his constantly flirty nature pushed her away. Killed Loghain because of how he'd treated the City elves. Chose to die in the battle of Denerim so her friends -- and the alianage -- could live.
Kyra Mahariel. Fiercely protective Dalish elf. Kyra loved her clan, and had been best friends with Merill and Tamlen. She could not imagine living amongst the shems, and when Duncan took her away from her home she felt as is she was trapped in a nightmare. Vowing to make the best of it, she chose to serve her people in any way she could. Backed the dalish camp in teh woods over the werewolves, saved the aliange in denerim, chose the mages because they reminded her of Merill, and kept Alistair rather than sully her hands with the enslaver of Loghain. Fell in love with Zevran, though she remains horrified at how he walked away from his clan. Survived Denerim's final battle with the dark ritual, and demanded Anora recognize land for the Dalish. That done, she and Zevran retired, staying in the land that the elves had been granted and, from time to time, travelling to other clans.
Maive Surana. Maive was given to the tower when she was a baby, and always wondered about her past. She grew up in the tower and was accostumed to their rules and traditions, and di dher best to follow them. She had many friends, both human and elven, but none closer to her than Jowan. His betrayal wounded her deeply, and she was glad to get away from the tower following it. After she'd left, her faith in the circle was shaken. Many of her childhood beliefs - even down to the vassalin she'd chosen for herself after reading about the dalish in a book in the tower -- seemed downright naive. Perhaps Jowan ahd been right, and she let him live when she next saw him. She felt very drawn to Morrigan, whose callous nature fit with what Maive now saw of the world. Morrigan's completely different way of magic was utterly enchanting to her, and gradually she fell in love with the witch of the wilds. She allowed Morrigan to get pregnant with Loghain's child in order to live, but mostly out of a desire to conduct the ritual. After the battle of denerim, Morrigan fled, but Maive pursued and eventually came through the Eluvian with her to raise their son.
