Left the house @ 10 a.m. to take my mom to a various array of tests & then the hospital for her surgery. Spent all day except for a 1.5 hour lunch break hanging around the hospital. Came home @ 10 p.m. to a house full of starving cats & poo/puke everywhere. My mom's surgery went ok, but she's still at the hospital; they're keeping her overnight. She reacted rather poorly to the general anaesthesia. I am fortunately much too tired to be really freaking out.

I really have a hard time with hospitals.
