Milkshake-like topic. ^^'
Been about a week since my last LJ update, so there's several things to talk about.
1°) First, FESS.
Apparently, things seem to have calmed down. But I'll remain on my guard for now.
During that week, I asked several of my FESS-savy fellow French FE fans from the French FE community about their opinion on why FESS is currently weak, and why they aren't interested in suscribing to it.
So I gathered their answers in order to translate them and publish them in the reflexion topic of FESS, but I thought it would be better to ask Superbus for approval first, so I handed the answers to him. I left the matter is on his hands now, as he said me he would translate them and publish them later.
As for me, for my last month at FESS before being mostly cut from the Internet for one year due to my trip to Japan, I'll just steer clear from debate topics, and stick to providing materials, that is if I have enough time to prepare some, as I have to prepare my trip.
2°) Second : I GOT MONSHOU NO NAZO AND POWER DRIVE !!! ~o~
That week, I went to one of the few retro video games shop around I know, and definitely found some awesome stuff after a few digging.
I had the wonderful luck to find a copy of Fire Emblem 3 in top shape, with the box and the booklet, as well as a Megadrive game a buddy made me discover 12 years ago ; I liked that game a lot, and was desperately searching for it for 12 years, until that week : Power Drive, a Rally game made by Rage and U.S. Gold. I also got Porsche Challenge, a PS1 game I liked its demo of it in the Demo CD provided with the console, when I had my PS1 back in 1997.
The best about my FE3 find, is that I got it at half its normal price, due to the fact that, at the time I bought it, the shop was in an all-out discount period. So, I got it for 19.50 Euros instead of 39 Euros ! ~o~
Along with that, I was able to replenish my stock of PS1 Memory Cards (which was terribly low due to me saving a lot in Star Ocean 2 and Tokimeki Memorial : Forever with you) with 3 new Official Memory Cards.
That shop had some other awesome games, but unfortunately, I currently do not have the consoles to play them, and unlike the FE games, I'm not buying them for playing them and/or for collection, but solely for playing (and, well, I can't buy everything too, my budget is limited).
Some of the most valuable games I've seen, on top of my mind, were Dragon Force (Saturn), Shining Force 3 Part 1 to 3 (Saturn), Emerald Dragon (NEC ; the shop even had two copies of that game !!), and Samurai Showdown (Neo-Geo).
I've lent my digital camera to one of my relatives, so I can't take pictures of Monshou no Nazo and Power Drive for now. I'll do and publish photos of them on my LJ when I'll get my camera back.
3°) Third, my Fujimori Nuts' FE4 Manga Translation Project :
So, this week, I worked hard on editing the scans of Stage 5 of that manga. And since yesterday, the translation of that Stage is available on my FE website ! Whew, one good thing complete ! ^_^
So yeah. Quite an animated week.
That being said, I feel like taking where I left off of my Japanese Star Ocean 2 playthrough... It's been like nearly 3 weeks I haven't played it. T_T
I think I'll go back playing it in one or two hours.
