I Predict A Riot!!
Last night I went to The Mod Club to see the Kaiser Chiefs. OK GO opened up, and they were really good. Too bad their album is terrible from what I've heard from others.
Between OK Go and Kaiser Chiefs there was a half hour break, so I went to the bar to get a $200.00 beer. While I was there Mark Holmes was there too, so I tried to have a conversation.
Me: "Hey, how's the night going?"
Mark: "Good man. You here for the show?"
Me: "Yeah, they're gonna be good. What do you think of them?"
Mark: "Yeah, it's fookin' brilliant, innit it?"
...I don't think he understood my question.
Then the Kaiser Chiefs went on stage. This is their bassist:
Okay, so it wasn't ACTUALLY Timpano, but the guy looked just like him. Seriously though, they were great. The guitarist looked and played just like George Harrison, and just overall they were a VERY energetic band and they played great. Really worth going to. You should have come (you know who you are!!)
