(no subject)
So I'm going to see Kasabian tonight, but I have no idea if the people I'm going to see them with are coming. They haven't called, which I suppose is typical. Timpano's probably smoking which means he can't answer his phone.
So the last month and more has been good. I've seen some good shows, had some boring classes (but I passed all of them!), joined a gym, bought lots of new music, and partied my share of times.
So nothing too different.
A friend of mine from residence last year recently got signed to Arts & Crafts (the label Broken Social Scene, Stars, Feist, etc. is on) and I can't help to be at least a little jealous. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm really, really happy for him, I just wish it happened to me. Though I suppose I've really done nothing towards that goal. But regardless, my adive to all the hipsters out there: start namedropping The Most Serene Republic (that's his band) because noones heard of them and they don't have an album out yet, but they will be pretty big soon most likely. I don't know if they're good or not, but you'd still have alot of indie cred for mentioning them!
I met up with an old friend for drinks Tuesday night. I was expecting it to be really awkward but it ended up being one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time. So good for that.
And I'm going to see Kaiser Chiefs by myself since noone will go with me. Will YOU go with me? Get a ticket!
Tonight (if it goes to plan) is going to be fun. First Kasabian, then the Red Square...at the very least it'll be tiring.
And Jeff, why the hell haven't you called me back?! I've left 2 messages like 3 days ago!
