i got this magazine when i was in taiwan.. they look good on the cover! but i'm not going to scan it, i'm not sure if the scans are floating around.. eito has quite a few people scanning magazines for them. actually i don't know if anyone has translated this but i haven't seen it so i did it anyway! enjoy!
What kind of happenings can kanjani eito create once they get going!?
maru: its time to recall the top 10 happenings of eito from the start until now!!
yoko: there’s a lot, isn’t there?
baru: what would be good..?
hina: for me, its back from the hostel days. The matter of, yoko’s pudding: who ate it. That really left a big impression in me, after that incident, I learnt to write my own name on my food!
yoko: speaking of which, that wasn’t pudding, it was yoghurt. And most importantly, I did write my name yknow, but it still got eaten anyway!
baru: I wonder who’s the thief? We still don’t know till now..
hina: ever since that, I’ve been writing my name eeeverywhere. On my underwear, my shoes, my handphone charger. There’ll be a ‘村’
yasu: there was once maru wore murakami-kun’s pants, right?!
ryo: oh yes that happened!
hina: maru was all sure of himself and going, ‘this is definitely mine!!’ and then I was going ‘no this is definitely mine!!!’
ohkura: and right there maru took off the pants right?
maru: I did..
hina: and the result was, ‘村’ was written on it. What were you so proud of?!
maru: like I said, I thought it was mine!
yasu: the scene of maru standing there stark naked and all mad.. come to think of it, he looked so small and pathetic and I feel so sorry for him (laughs)
eito: lollll :D
maru: it was so embarrassing~!
baru: speaking of maru.. when did he go get his lisence?? I was surprised..
ohkura: ahh that did happen..
baru: in the midst of concerts, he suddenly announced it. I was shocked!
ryo: at first only ohkura knew..
ohkura: yeahh I knew he was going to the driving centre.. no matter how much I tried to keep quiet about it, I couldn’t. and told ryo in the end (laughs)
ryo: reports of maru’s license taking was leaked to me bit by bit by ohkura. It was interesting to hear about them (laughs)
yoko: I think Subaru and I were the only ones who didn’t know at all..?
maru: what a planned was, to appear at work driving in my own car and give everyone a shock. But it seems that didn’t happen :S (laughs)
yoko: nah, I was shocked enough (laughs)
yasu: when did you go for the lessons?
maru: around the end of 47.. towards the new year..
yasu: ah speaking of the 47 tour.. its got to be what happened at sendai’s barbeque! i remember it so clearly!
ryo: what was it?
yasu: the staff and everyone else was getting drunk and one by one all fell asleep at the hotel. And when they woke up, there was drawings all over their body! We were doing it with magic marker!
yoko: that sort of thing happened?!
maru: yeah yeah it did! (laughs) we drew and drew but no one woke up, it was soooo funny. Really, they were all sound asleep.
baru: that day at sendai, ohkura was so drunk, it was badddd. In the car he was doing XXX and XXX. This guy, THIS GUY~ he showed us something amazing (laughs)
ohkura: lolllll
hina: everything was here and there that day and there was an large outbreak of events (laughs)
ryo: speaking of events, its gotta be yokoyama-kun and ohkura’s takishugyou (waterfall training) location shoot, no?
if you want information on waterfall training, its something like this
baru: ah that was terrible..
hina: before, when ohkura and I went for the location shoot to the cliff, he kept going ‘I can’t do it no more!’. It was shocking how he simply refused to do it. (the cliff episode, where they went to pick some precious something. mushrooms? my memory is failing me.) ‘ah this guy is useless!’ I kinda thought to myself, and then he went and proven himself to be truly useless!
ohkura: no but it was too scary, the cliff! But you see, after the waterfall training, I have been reformed ✩
ryo: that’s definitely a lie! (laughs)
maru: also with yokoyama-kun, we went for a bungee jumping location shoot, I jumped twice~
yasu: because you’re maru!
baru: you’ll do it no matter how many times!
maru: there were many scenes of yokoyama-kun being all timid, so it seemed like I was calmly doing it all the while. But it was scary for me too yknow! I wanted people to notice that too! Please understand me~
yoko: that was impossible for me..
hina: if there was another location shoot to bungee jump what would you do? Would you jump?
yoko: no. definitely impossible. Waterfall training is definitely better!
ryo: we can talk about yokoyama-kun losing his stuff!
baru: I know, I’ve been puzzled since a long time ago..
maru: his driving license is in his wallet so by looking at the number of time he lost his driving license you can tell how many times he’s lost his wallet (laughs)
the last number of your license number is the number of times you’ve replaced it XD
yasu: it should have been 6-7 times? (laughs)
baru: didn’t you just lose it on our last tour?
yoko: … I lost it again after that
eito: LOL
baru: its amazing! It’s a special ability already!
ohkura: you’re turning 30 soon, start being serious already! How do you feel when you lose it?
yoko: eh? do you have to ask? Of course my first reaction is shock!
ohkura: (laughs)
hina: on a more serious tone, before we debuted, while at shochiku the power suddenly stopped (shochiku is a place where butais are performed..their predebut butai.. a funny english name, was it called Another? Alright, not important!) that was a pretty big thing huh.
yoko: me, I love this sort of stuff. How do I say it, it fires me up!
baru: uh huh, “now that the power has stopped, how shall we face it?”, its that kind of situation.
maru: it really makes my heart pump though.
hina: ohkura, what else do we have?
ohkura: during the PUZZLE tour-having a heart to heart talk while drinking that was important wasn’t it? We don’t often have the chance to drink together, all 7 of us
maru: we got all passionate!
baru: from then onwards we have to set off with renewed strength and stronger teamwork. That was the feeling..
ryo: from then on things have been going smoothly huh..
yoko: along the vein of things, 8UPPERS project was a huge deal.. we organized the timings of everyone, considered everyone’s schedule and somehow it managed to take shape amongst all our other work.
yasu: that definitely gave me a great sense of achievement..
ohkura: we managed to shoot something like a movie, and still managed to have our Osaka Countdown concert at the same time..
maru: countdown at the kyocera dome 2 years running.. that’s a great achievement too.
hina: rather than just doing it for a year, doing it for 2 years running shows the stability of our progress..
baru: hmm but speaking of big events.. isn’t it meeting each other as members? This is the biggest!
yoko: with that we can conclude our interview! (laughs)
ryo: happenings of kanjani eito that can’t be said on magazines piles as high as a mountain, so lets end it nice here (laughs)
ohkura: if we were to come up with a ratio for ‘can be said:cant be said’ what will it be?
yoko: its got to be 4:6 (laughs)
baru: good balance! (laughs)
yasu: this is a normal number!
baru: it seems a lot of people like to ask us about our interesting episodes!
ohkura: because it’s the nature of our group (laughs)
ryo: although ohkura and I mostly take on the listener’s role during such times.. (laughs)
ohkura: you’re right (laughs)
