Peter's got a few days off, ostensibly to recover from his All Hallows trauma. We spent today going to my extremely short follow-up laser eye appointment; I was in and out in ten minutes. My right eye isn't perfect, and it's subconsciously making me struggle to see things. It's possible I can have an adjustment done in December, between sessions and over the holidays, instead of waiting for the summer. I'd rather get it done sooner than later, since I notice the blurriness when I cover my left eye.
Since we were on Yonge Eglinton, we wanted Korean BBQ for lunch, so we drove down there. Unfortunately, the restaurant was still closed. Walking towards the next best choice, we passed a game store. Originally we wanted a cable for our Gamecube, since we can't find it, but found and picked up a used Wii.
Went to Aji Sai for all-you-can-eat sushi. It was absolutely delicious! Compared to the cheapness of Akita, I'm impressed at the price and quality. I guess it's just a lot more competitive out here.
It was nice spending the day with Peter - a weekday with no crowds. Normally he works weekdays and I have weeknights and weekends, so we don't spend a lot of lazy, lengthy quality time together. It was good to do something together without one of us being exhausted from the day's work. Tomorrow we're going to go shopping and run errands.
Fighting off a cold I picked up from my students - I was already weak from lack of sleep and allergies (visited a friend who lived with dogs), and seeing the student cough on my hand made me groan.
