Busy busy busy!

Last month I sent students to the RCM examinations. They came back with good marks, and after a few weeks of relaxation, it's back to the grindstone. Three students are preparing for the June exams, and a fourth is headed out in August. I am excited!

Today's been exhausting - Saturday is my 'real' work day, teaching my first kids at 9 AM and going until 3.30 PM. (I'm not complaining though, I love what I do!) After that we had originally planned to go to the ROM to sort out my volunteer ID, enjoy some Korean BBQ and do some shoe shopping, but I was way too tired to make the trip. Instead, we called Glen and Melissa (Peter's sister/brother-in-law) and met them for sushi nearby. When they heard our plan to go to Square One for a shoe shopping trip, they came too.

Peter and I found our shoes: he needed new work shoes and I plain black shoes. Melissa found some cheap clothes for a future character idea. We also scouted some stores that had interesting fabrics for future LARP ideas. The masquerade is coming up, and I don't have a good evening dress, so I'll probably go shopping with Melissa sometime in the future. (Also planned: Peking duck night.) I'm exhausted after all that walking.

Tomorrow is lunch with Peter's family, a casual affair that I find odd because I barely see/speak to my parents except around major holidays or birthdays.
