(no subject)
today i went to red carpet car wash, and my car is so happy now! they even cleaned the inside too. it really needed it. except that there is still some stuff on the front that they couldn't get off. i think it's egg. don't ask me how egg got on my car, i just noticed it there(or something that looked like egg) one day.
my winter grades came in, and it's the best quarter gpa i've gotten since last winter...but my overall gpa is still not up to 3.0. it's just barely under. it's because of stupid organic chemistry. if i had been able to get into it last quarter and retake it, i could've replaced the grade and probably would be above 3.0. now i have to see if i can still apply to go to south africa. my confidence that i will go is dwindling, but i will not stop trying until they tell me there is no possible way, because i know i would regret it if i didn't.
unfortunately i only got to hang out with one person i wanted to over the break. i hung out with her again yesterday and we watched "fear and loathing in las vegas". and i tried my first(and probably only) cigarette. the brand was primetime, and i think it was pretty wimpy as cigarettes go. it tasted like strawberries. i don't think i'll be doing more anytime soon, so don't worry. i really really really hope she doesn't get sent somewhere where they'll brainwash her and make her into a different person. i wish i had the money to take her away to santa barbara and pay her rent for a while so she could get away from her parents. then she would see that there are plenty of people out there who think like her, and she wouldn't feel repressed anymore. i am so thankful for my family, because they support me forming my own opinion about things.
so, back to sb tomorrow. this break went really fast. most of it was just watching movies. i can cross "brazil", "the abominable dr. phibes", "bucket of blood", "scanners", and "fear and loathing in las vegas" off of my list. hopefully next quarter will bring more good grades. by the way i cut my hair and got another piercing, on my right ear lobe. i like it. goodnight.
