i'm a big girl now
my birthday was good! i thought i was just going to take my last final, then spend the rest of the day sitting on the couch watching movies. but then my brother called and decided to come to santa barbara for a couple hours. so he and his girlfriend(who coincidentally has the same birthday as me...that was weird) came up and we went to chili's. he bought me my first legal alcoholic drink. i was so excited to show my i.d. :) then after i got home i rented "alien" and "invasion of the body snatchers"(the 1978 version) and started watching "alien", but then someone called me because they had car trouble, so i had to go help her. so after that i felt like a good samaritan. after that i starting watching "alien" again, and nancy came home with a chocolate muffin she had bought me and put candles in for me to blow out. :) then i watched "invasion of the body snatchers", then i went to bed. and that was my tremendously exciting 21st birthday.
today i went whale-watching for a couple hours in the morning, and then nancy and i left for home. my parents and i went to olive garden for dinner and i got carded again when i got wine. :) i am such a grown-up now, lol. so now i'm home. i didn't have any presents to open because my parents just gave me money. (they gave me a choice, money or presents, and i chose the money because i am saving up for stuff.) my kitty is curled up on the couch. :) i think we are going to yosemite on sunday. that should be cool. other than that i don't really have any plans. hopefully i will be able to hang out with some people, maybe go shopping, get a haircut and dye perhaps, clean my car, see a movie or two. whatever.
