Since the first batch was AU’s, here are long fics that aren’t AU but do have happy endings:

The Oracle of Gryffindor by fullmoon_dreams, who has just sold her first novella to a publisher!
Summary: James Potter believes he is having visions of the future. But what happens when he sees more than he ever wanted to of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin? ~10,000 R MWPP@Hogwarts
***When Remus and Lily plan to prank James, what could possibly go wrong?

Boys Keep Swinging by midnitemaraud_r.
Summary: With the full moon falling on Christmas Day, Remus plans to spend the holidays alone at Hogwarts and practice his abysmal potions work, while not-in any way, shape, or form-contemplating his attraction to Sirius. Fortunately, nothing ever goes as planned. ~13,000 R Hogwarts era
* Boyish, funny, sexy and exasperating in turns just like the boys it's about!

Dating Remus Lupin by Children of the Shadows
~92,000 It is somewhat of an AU, very offbeat with totally original characterizations of Sirius and his “cupcake” and a mysterious, poignant back story. There is angst in parts but more crack and happy ending will be had. Hogwarts era R

Subtlety, Thy Name is Sirius Black by rekahneko
Summary: After Remus pokes fun at Sirius for his lack of subtlety, a bet is made. Can Remus get a date without resorting to obvious methods? ~21,000 PG-13 MWPP@Hogwarts
***This is a classic for good reason!

Reservoirs by rosemaryandrue. 31 entries ranging from ~500 words to ~2,500 R MWPP@Hogwarts
*Reservoirs truly has it all, our beloved Marauders, Lily Evans, too many other HP characters to mention here, longing, adventure, fires, storms, magic, young lovers, fantasies, humor, danger….. and all of it told in the most enchanting manner. You won’t even need to lose sleep over the cliff hangers if you don’t choose to. Come on! Give it a try. You know you want to!

a summer wasting by crooked and closet_zebra.
*This story, set in 1977, has the seventeen year old Marauders traveling on their own to Blackpool for a week’s holiday at the shore in a VW caravanette. There’s skinny boys, sand, smokes, pub crawls and simply marvelous UST, even a happy ending. PG-13 Hogwarts era

Blue Moon by juliefortune, who was a published author even before she wrote this. ~13,200 NC-17 Order of the Phoenix
*What I especially like about her stories is the way she wrote about the adults of the Potter verse. They are full realized, complex individuals in her stories the way they would see one another rather than seen through the eyes of Harry, a teenager and not even a perceptive one.
This is a sequel to juliefortune’s Black Moon but all that you need to know is that Remus and Sirius became lovers recently during the “lie low at Lupin’s” period. So their relationship is new and fraught with doubts and insecurities. In the meantime, they are moving into 12 Grimmauld Place, reconvening the Order of the Phoenix and meeting old allies and enemies. This tale features a realistic look at the challenges of a new relationship, a fresh look at the adults of the Potterverse, hilarity in the form of someone accidentally outing themselves at an order meeting and hot sex. Won’t you give it a read to see why it’s one of my enduring favorites?

Fire Shadows by dreamdustmama.
Summary: It's the month before Seventh Year begins, and Remus and Sirius find their way towards each other in a world that's becoming increasingly more chaotic. ~33,200 PG-13 Hogwarts era

Aww man, some good recs here.

I just wanted to say one thing - I read "Subtlety, Thy Name is Sirius Black" a little while ago, and I LOVE the premise and the idea behind it, but I wish it had been written by someone else. Is that horrible?
