A Needed Talk [Locked to Fox]
After the Conversation in the Library, Remus is confused. He likes Kirill. But he doesn't think he can deal with what he's been told.
He'd seen that Kirill was depressed, laying around as Noski, and he'd laid with him and kissed him and held him. Nothing will change that he loves Kirill, as he loves all of his friends. And it hurts him to see Kirill upset.
He doesn't know what to do.
But he knows he wants to talk to someone, and Fox is the only one that knows what's going on. And Fox is the only one Remus can talk to about stuff like this. Even before all of the dating stuff, Fox had been The One to Talk To for this kind of thing.
So Remus waits until breakfast that day, the day of the Bed Hopping, and slips Fox a note when no one is looking.
I'll be waiting for you in the Shack after breakfast. Don't tell anyone.
Remus excuses himself early from breakfast, saying he needs to go get a book he'd forgotten in the dorm before he goes to meet with Caspian to talk about some of the creatures he's helping with. He knows no one would go looking for him or worry, so that works as an excuse, he thinks.
If Fox doesn't show up, he'll assume he couldn't get away.
But he hopes he shows up.
