because apparently, people do still read this blog.
1. did not jump ship, got transferred to a different department and got a raise. but this is the second weekend in a row that i'm working hard for that money. on the bright side, i'm feeling like hot shit right now because i can do wonders with my site's CMS without coaching.
2. i'm easing into my independence. ours is a very complicated relationship that is obviously not over yet, but i'm looking at the bigger picture. he did write that song that goes, "with you i'm shining, without you i'm fine." i'm fine, but i want to be shining even without him. it's gonna happen.
3. when i say shine, though, i mean shine because my life totally rocks and it's all because of me, and what i've done to make myself happy. i notice that i tend to look for the new god in the sea. well, men can suck it.
4. dancing, writing about dance and teaching dance is still the dream. i'm dancing, and sometimes writing about dance. teaching can wait, as can my phd. i'm really looking forward to those, though.
