“Which do you choose, him or the world?”

I watched Hellboy 2: The Golden Army last Thursday in PIM2, alone. My boys were scattered around so I couldn’t make them join me. Curiously enough, I not on purpose bought the ticket for seat D13. How fitting.

The film was amazing - OK, you may comment like “Isn’t the plot an ordinary one for a ‘superhero movie’?” Yeah, but if a superhero movie gives you the chill of watching something adrenaline pumping, something that you really enjoy, something that makes you laugh and cry with the interesting characters, isn’t that enough? Plus, you know Guillermo del Toro, that auteur, his visionary visualization is just godlike. I almost fell to my knees to see Death. I almost converted religion at that moment, choosing to worship del Toro’s Death instead.

Other things? Erm… Busy translating. There’s an offer to write a book. I think I’ll take it.

Oh that broken relationship thing again. I’m trying to get my things back, but so far she hasn’t replied my text. Trying to gulp down everything in a positive light, I was thinking: “Well, she’s shaking me off - she’s losing a powerful ally.” Haha.
