(warning: stoopid fangirling ahead)

I’m reading B’s LoG nowadays. It’s a magazine in which tie-in manga of games and drama CDs are published. No, not a BL magazine, although probably from the scan above you can see big B and L staring at you. I found this magazine inspires me so much; there are many exciting talents inside. (And I think if you work in a game mag it’s a good idea to subscribe to this magazine, right?)

One of the current regular series in B’s Log is Chayamachi Suguro’s Togainu no Chi. I’m a bit lost concerning the story since I don’t play the game. Now I feel the need to play it XD IINM, Chayamachi was the one in charge of Devil May Cry manga - which I like because it’s fully black and white, without screentone. Man, Chayamachi’s artwork is outstanding (a sample on the right). I love artist who dare to go against the ‘mainstream’ style of artwork.

In June 2007, Sugai Aya published Danke!! (the title’s a wordplay; in Japanese, it’s written as 男家!!), a story of 7 brothers (yes). There are also manga like JIHAI, Otomeki High School, Sekaiseifuku Children, Oretachi no STEP, and many others.

And in September 2007, a new series started. It’s called

恋人 は No. 1 ホスト (Koibito wa No. 1 HOST)

so I guess you got some picture of what it’s all about XD I mean, a young boy was so touched when he managed to make his female friend happy that he decided to be a host when he grew up. OH WELL, BUT THE HOSTS ARE BEAUTIES ANYWAY, SO I’M READING THE SERIES STILL LOL. The author is Yamada Sakurako, whose artwork has made it to ‘My Favourite’ list.

I scanned the picture above from the namecards of the Eternity Hosts given away as a bonus of the September edition XD Actually the cards are glossy, so the scans didn't come out well. Jin, Yuuki, and Tsukasa wrote messages on the back of their cards XD

Vanessa, Zell, Tc, and I were having fun with the cover featuring the hosts when we went to Kino. Vanessa went around with the magazine and said, “This is a friend test! Those who are my friends know who I’m going to choose among this guys!” We all got the answer right (Jin). LOL. She’s so predictable.

My favourite? Why, Tatsumi of course. I ROTFLed when I saw him for the first time and read his name. Tatsumi? Rings a bell doesn’t it? And he’s not a cool guy. He’s such a freaky, funny character that I just love him more.

You? Who would you choose? XD

BTW, I got July 2007’s Betsuhana. I bought it because the bonus was Sachihana Jewel’s Love Chick. It’s an imaginary (you can say a parody) manga originally appearing in one of my favourite series nowadays, Kanno Aya’s Otomen.

And because I love Yamada Nanpei.

OMG YOU MUST SEE RIKU-NII WHEN HE DRESSED UP FOR THE FIRST DAY CEREMONY. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMGGGGG HE’S SO HANDSOME.

[ADD] Oh, don't make me laugh. An artist who once had an argument with me because he supported war is now doing a calendar project, the benefits of which will be donated to 'charity like Amnesty International'. Somehow he sounds contradictory.[/ADD]
