I could fix computers, it's kinda all I do. Shelton, though, that's a pretty long drive from here too. You might be closer actually. What does he need done?

his computer's a piece of crap man! its slow as hell. plus i need to figure out how to add a com2 port so that i can have this one program running at the same time as the internet, because i guess com1 and com3 overlap sorta . well something. so i need a com2 port

COM2 is a virtual port, and should be assigned to the second serial port. Is he using an external dial-up modem?

see what happened was that we had everything going good, already been setup a while ago on this one computer. but then my brother went and bought him a newer better one i guess (it's still runs like a piece of shit if you ask me) and wanted me to come down there to re install all the programs he needed and do all the configuring and shit.
and now i just have to do this com2 thingie and then i should be good to go.
