FORGIVE me if I can't get too exercised about the latest accusations hurled at Opera Australia. Same show, different cast. In fact, Crisis in Standards at the Opera has been revived so frequently it's a staple of the repertoire, often playing on the same bill as The Director Must Go or its variant, Sack the Board.
To the casual operagoer (as casual as one can be, I suppose), the end product is still quite impressive and an enjoyable experience.
