A/N:
I don’t think that I’m cut out for doing this, but whatever. This is the net and I’m sure that this is not the worst one shot out there *shivering in remembrance* This is basically my 2nd take on writing fan fiction ever (the 1st one was not even finished though……..). I hope you like it even though half of it was done between 0.30 and 3.30 am………………But I atleast tried to do sth ^^''
BTW: ADVISE WANTED Tell me what’s good about this and what’s not, tell me where I have made mistakes and what was simply *%. I’ll be writing a big exam in English in the next few months so I want to know EVERYTHING ^^
Soi Fon-> Sui Feng, because that’s the (almost) correct Chinese spelling (Pinyin) of her name. The other one is just the Japanese version (written in Furigana, I assume) of her name.
Title: Gone
Rating: some parts may be a bit NC-17
Pairing: Soi Fon/Yoruichi
Words: 1085
Warning: OOCness especially on Yoruichi‘s part, Yuri, Angst
Gone
Dawn crept it’s way over the almost unoccupied landscape lying north of Karakura town . The rays of the setting sun shining through the open door of the small hut, sending the bright, bittersweet colour orange over the glistening bodies of two seemingly unsimilar souls. Dancing, the light set entrancing highlights over the dark skin of an exotic looking woman with mischievous golden eyes, who traces with gentle fingers the outlines of her own shadow against the pale skin of a smaller, but not less beautiful woman. Leaning in to an almost desperate kiss the two women found themselves drowning into each other and searching with experienced hands more ways to make contact besides the passionate touch of their lips.
“Shao ling”, the first word spoken, or rather gasped, since the captain of the 2nd Division of the Gotei 13 arrived at Yoruichi Shihouin’s refuge, was the former Name of Sui Feng. It was deemed unnecessary at her enrollment into the Shinigami academy and remained unspoken for more than a century. As if to conceal the irritation that came from being called this …..unfamiliar “Name”, it’s owner bit down, hard, on the other ones mahogany shoulder drawing a lustful moan out of her.
But Yoruichi wasn’t so easily subdued. She teased the little hard nubs of her former apprentices breast with feather- light touches, lowered her left hand to brush slowly but continuously with her nails against the soft skin of Sui’ sensitive inner thigh, all the while whispering soft nothings into her captives ear.
“Yo- Yoruichi-sama” whispered Sui Feng. It had been so long……so long, that even the lightest of touches could turn her into this….this disgraceful puddle that could barely stand on her own two legs.
“Shh…….Shao ling…..”,Yoruichi hushed “you just need to cling onto me”
There it was again. That Name. Yoruichi’s words.. ………..Oh so sweet, but so embarrassing, shameful, and even painful. They were meant to be comforting, but they shot straight into her soul, piercing their way straight into her heart; Sui didn’t want to look the long known truth in the eye, so she did not.
“What’s wrong? Shao ling”, Yoruichi was concerned, were even these little touches too much for her little bee?
“Please……..stop” an almost unhearable reply, whispered, but cutting through the air like a Zanpakutou through falling silk.
Yoruichi furrowed a brow, she was confused upon this whole situation. “What? What are you……..”
“Stop! Stop calling this Name” Sui Feng still didn’t want to look at the woman, that always had a special place in her heart in the face. The one that she has always thought of as a unfailing goddess, when she still held her other name as her true name in her heart. The same one that now stands in front of her as just a normal mortal soul. She trembled. This time not of awe or prior activities, almost forgotten, just the tiniest tingling remaining. Fading. No, this time she was trembling, because the claws of disappointment and the feeling of being let down clawed their way into her chest.
“Why? You liked it, you said …..”
“That was a hundred years ago!” Finally looking the undeniable truth in the eye, Sui was able to not see herself but a much younger, innocent version of herself reflected in her lovers gilden eyes.
“But………Shao Ling…….”, dumbstruck, Yoruichi was not able to process the happenings at all
“I’ve changed. I’m not like I was before you went with That man. I’m not Shao Ling anymore, why can’t you see that” The single tear that moved down the little Shinigami’s cheek did not weaken at all the intensive mix of emotions layed bare in her unyielding eyes. Yoruichi, as if in a daze, reached out to touch her cheek “Shao Ling…”
Sharp pain suddenly slashed through her cheek, but it wasn’t able to pull Yoruichi out of her daze. The despair of her former subordinates voice not registering in her mind.
“Why can’t you accept ME? Yoruichi-sama!”
Shaking the other’s shoulders, Sui looked her lover straight into the eyes, but there was still the same gaze of shock and disbelief in them. The look that said that there was nothing else to say.
“I, ………I understand….. I’m going now………..”
‘She was going? No, NO! That can’t be true. She can’t just leave me like that. It’s not right. It’s not………’
“Shao………..SUI!!!!”
Finished with tying the knots of her Shihakusho together, Sui Feng turned around a last time.
Bathed in the crimson red light of the last sun rays, she gave her former mentor a last sad smile before turning around and confidently walking out of the door, shunpoing away.
Yoruichi was left alone again.
Gone was the smile of which the memory alone kept her sanity during all those long years of exile.
Gone the featherlike kisses and touches…..
Her little fledgling…..
…..gone.

A/N: I wrote this as a reaction to the anime (especially the omakes) and the very few YoruSoi fics I read so far. I just wanted to do sth. Different…….
Besides who ever said that Yoruichi went unscathed out of the whole 100 year in exile thingie. Lonliness is a big deal afterall
Guuuh >.<‘’ 3.30 am now, time to go into bed
BTW this year I’m going to do sth for every (for me)important bleach birthday……….
A/N2: Shao Ling means sth. Like “twig pattern” and Sui sth. Like “smash”, ”break”, “crush” (“familiar”, “popular” sometimes)
Feng means “bee” or “hornet”. As a Japanese family name it can be read “Hachi” Is that supposed to be word play, Kubo? ^^’’
