In which something TERRIBLY IMPORTANT is revealed

This is the video I am currently OBSESSED with. And the reason I am SO EXCITED to see Mardi Love's show. She looks like she's from a 1920's silent film.

Do you know something I have realized? Or rather, it is not really a realization but an admission. I am fascinated by the way people look. And fashion, to a certain extent, although I think it is more at the costume end of the spectrum. I love looking at people and the specific clothes they wear, and I want to draw and make and wear and look at costumes, and sometimes I want to scrutinize a person because I am so intrigued by the way she looks. She, being the majority, since really this fascination is mostly with women. Men are attractive, or sexy or handsome or whatever, but they don't have "a look" as often and don't have the same kind of aesthetically enthralling quality. I suppose both interests (the different kinds of interests for different genders) are compulsions of a kind. Just not the same kind. Blah de blah. Anyway, is this a completely shallow fixation? There are plenty of people in the world who have made a living out of this sort of interest. Costume designers in a play, rather than fashion designers, come to mind. As much as I like the way people look, I hate the mentality of the Fashion Industry.

Anyway, I find that there are many things I like or I am that I have ignored or downplayed in my life because I didn't think they were Good, Important, or (sigh) Cool enough. Or else too weird. Also, I just used "I" FIVE times in that sentence. That. Is. Enough.
