Title: Cloudy Mist
Prompt: Love Spell/Potion Gone Wrong

Summary: Haruhi can’t handle Tamaki’s ignorance. But sometimes, meddling is not the best solution.
She was tired of waiting for him to realize his love for her. So today, she made drinks with a potion in it. The ones who drank this potion would fall in love with the other person who drank it.
She made sure Tamaki drank it, and reached for the other cup to find it gone! She found it in Kyouya’s hand, the drink already gone.
‘This is bad.’
The next hour developed with no interest; nothing seemed out of place.
‘Okay, maybe the love potion doesn’t work.’
They-the other host-left the music room, all except Tamaki and Kyouya of course.
“You know daddy, mommy needs some quality time with you.”
Tamaki replied, “That’s what I was thinking.” The two stayed in the room-mommy was in charge of everything that night.
The next day, no one noticed a change in their relationship. All except their newest host, Haruhi Fujioka of course.
‘Damn. The potion did work.’
Hikaru knew something was wrong with her, and decided to confront her later. But for now, he would be with his brother Kaoru.
“It’s so boring.”
“Really? Things are getting interesting if you ask me.” Hikaru stared at his crazy brother, unsure about what he meant. ‘It’s obvious Tamaki is over her. Now, Hikaru has a chance!’
Kaoru was watching out for his brother, cheering him on from the sidelines. “Well, it seems like we have to go.”
Hikaru turned to face Kaoru. “I have to see Haruhi first.”
He smiled. “Go right ahead.”
Hikaru ran into Haruhi. ‘Hikaru, remember to treat her kindly.’ “Haruhi, is there anything wrong?”
“No, everything is fine.” Her voice contradicted what she said. She sounded so miserable that he couldn’t help but to reach out to her. His hand brushed away a few strands of hair.
She stared into his eyes, his bright eyes. Those amber eyes held her, she was entranced by it.
“Hikaru, what are you doing?”
His eyes widened at that. He didn’t know what he was doing; he just knew that he was going to talk to her. “I don’t really know.”
Haruhi tried not to take it to heart, but it was hard-she really liked him, but not as much as Tamaki-senpai.
“I should go find Kaoru before… Bye.” He couldn’t help but to feel pain as he walked away from her.
“So Hikaru, what happened?” He was shocked to see his brother, Kaoru, there.
“What do you mean Kaoru?”
“So what happened between you and Haruhi?”
“I don’t know! I got to her, and she looked so miserable that I thought of kissing her!”
Kaoru thought he could tease someone about PMS, but he decided against it. “Then why didn’t you?”
“What do you mean Kaoru?”
‘I can’t believe he’s this stupid!’ “It’s obvious you love her. So go tell her!”
“But she’s gone.”
“Check the library. Come on!” Kaoru dragged him to the library, and they found her all alone. “Go on Hikaru. I’ll support you!”
“Wait!” He slammed the door shut.
“Hikaru?”
“Oh, hey Haruhi.” He was so nervous. “I have something to tell you.”
“What?”
On impulse, he pulled her close, crushing their lips together. When they parted, both their cheeks were tinged with pink. “I see Hikaru.”
