I really felt this on the show. He's made that decision, from his beautiful words to Lexie, to the fact that he told Alex he would eat more bacon (leaving off the part about having more sex, which to me meant that he's only interested in Lexie, not a large quantity of lovers), to the fact that even though his heart was broken, he was still by her side throughout the whole ordeal and when they went to check on Alex. So I really do think that you nailed his feelings. Lexie is it for him. He just has to be patient for her to come to him, which you allowed to happen here. Great job!

Oh, I didn't think about that with the bacon and sex scene but gosh, it would be so amazing if that's what he meant and it would make perfect sense. More sex - but only with Lexie. She really is it for him and I hope he doesn't forget that next season. Thanks for reading, Holly! Mark isn't known for being patient or for not having a fragile ego but my fingers will remain crossed for them.

This is really beautiful. I nice, tender reunion, and you pick up on all the things I love about them -- his quiet conviction and her blatant apprehension. Very good.
