Title: Dreaming
Rating: G
Pairing: Akira x Yuya
Summmary: Akira is addicted to his video games and Yuya is tired of him paying more attention to the games then Akira's own boyfriend.
Miyashita Yuya quietly walked through the hallway of the home when he was awakened by a light in the livingroom. He peeked in the room with a deep sigh. "Akira..." It was Nagata Akira, playing his video games. He probably had been up since last night, no wonder he sleeps so late. Turning around, Yuya walked to Yonehara Kousuke and Kamiyama Ryuji's room. He peered in seeing the couple cuddled up to eachother; not knowing they were an actual couple. "Kousuke and Ryuji look so peaceful. They'd be a perfect couple if they actually had feelings for eachother..." Yuya had a small grin on his face, then frowned. "But, aren't lovers supposed to act that way?" He turned around to face the livingroom. "When was the first time you ever slept with me that way?"
"No!" Akira yelped as he became fustrated with his game. "That has NEVER happened before!"
"Yeah, I know." Yuya whipped himself around to walk back to his room. When he arrived at his bed, he climbed on curling himself into a ball as he cuddled with a pillow and a blanket. His eyes began to drift shut as he fell asleep.
Yuya yawned as his eyes slowly opened. He looked around the bed and not to his surprise Akira was not in sight. "Ohayo, Akira." Yuya commented, although Akira not present, but it was a daily routine just in case he was there one morning. Getting up, he walked out of his bedroom and found Akira still playing on his videogames. "Akira, you've been up all night; get some sleep." Yuya got no answer from Akira. "Akira, that's enough." He tried to speak to him again, but no answer. Getting annoyed, Yuya stepped in front of the televison.
Akira paused his game looking up at Yuya. "Yuya, move."
Reaching down to the console, Yuya shut it off. "Moving!" He growled walking away from in front of the television.
"Yuya! What's your problem!?" Akira stood up with the game controller in his hand angered by Yuya.
"You're my problem!" Yuya walked in front of Akira grabbing the controller, "This! Is my problem!" He threw the controller across the room.
"What's with all the noise?" Kousuke walked into the kitchen then came back out with a glass of water. "Ryuji is trying to sleep, cut it out."
"Sorry, Kousuke." Yuya watched Kousuke. "Where are you going?"
Kousuke yanwed, "Oh, I'm going back to bed and brining Ryuji some water."
Yuya's eye twitched. "Okay. I'm sure Ryuji appreciates you being beside him in bed." He glared at Akira. Kousuke just nodded heading back into the bed room. Once Kousuke left, Yuya turned to Akira. "You see that Akira? Even Kousuke and Ryuji act like a couple and they aren't!"
"What does that have to do with anything?" Akira picked his controller up.
Shoving Akira backwards, Yuya stared at him baffled. "Leave me alone, Akira! Our relationship is now over!" Covering his face with a pillow, Yuya plopped on the couch and curled himself up into a ball.
Akira knelt down beside Yuya touching his back, "Don't say that, Yuya. Give me one more chance, okay?" Smiling he patted Yuya's shoulder. "I'll take you out, come on."
Forgiving Akira, Yuya allowed him to take him out. The two boys went for breakfast at a nearby cafe, then afterwards they took a walk through the town.
"Yuya, can we go please?" Akira pleaded as they neared a arcade. Without waiting for an answer from Yuya, Akira dragged him in. Letting go of Yuya, he hurried to the nearest available machine. Yuya sighed walking to the same machine as Akira and watched him play.
"Akira, I'm going to get a drink." Yuya waited for an answer, but didn't get one. "Okay, be right back." Yuya went to the drink counter and ordered his drink. "Is he ignoring me again? We'll see about that." Walking towards the machine, that Akira was at, Yuya passed it. He stopped then looked back at Akira. "Hey." Smiling, he tapped another guy on the shoulder and twirled a strand of hair with his finger. Glancing back at Akira, he frowned as Akira paid no attention. Yuya stomped his foot storming towards the machine. "Let's go home," Yuya took his arm. "Akira!" Akira didn't budge. Furious, Yuya uncapped his drink, dumping it on Akira.
Dripping in the drink, Akira turned to Yuya, "That was... uncalled for..."
"Oh really? Well, you know what?" Yuya stepped on Akira's foot. "Go date one of your video games because dating you is like dating a guitar, only the guitar is better! We. Are. Done." Yuya ran out of the arcade and headed back home. At home, he ran to his room slamming the door as he crawled into bed holding tightly onto a pillow. He sobbed lightly into the pillow as he remember the time that Akira asked him out.
It was a long day at work, and Yuya was just returning. He got home and the house was empty except for Akira in the kitchen and Kousuke and Ryuji missing. He met with Akira in the kitchen sitting down beside the other who was pigging out on cookies and ice cream. Yuya watched as Akira ate, but the entire time, Akira did not speak a word to Yuya. Akira got up taking out a whole cake and setting it in front of Yuya. It took a moment before Yuya looked at the cake and his face brighted up with red. On the cake it said, "I love you." At first Yuya thought the cake was bought, regardless of the text, for Akira's eating pleasure. Until, Akira clearly asked Yuya to be his boyfriend. Yuya agreed, but since then, they have not acted couple-like yet.
Sobbing into the pillow, Yuya held on tighter. His eyes slowly opened as he felt an arm around his waist and a hand on his cheek. "Hey, Yuya... Yuya...Why are you crying?" Akira held him tighter.
"A...Akira..." Yuya looked up as Akira held him close. "I'm sorry! Did you shower?"
"Um..." Akira looked around, "Do I need one? I can take one... before I go to bed."
Yuya touched Akira's cheek then looked at the clock, "It was noon. Why... is it dark out?"
Akira lifted Yuya's chin kissing him lightly. "You were crying when I got into bed, you scared me. I'm sorry if I woke you up. I love you, Yuya."
"...Akira I love you." Yuya buried his face in Akira's neck. "Not all dreams are worth coming true...and because of that I'm sleeping in with you this morning..."
