trip to ....downtown disney ?! Bring Disney Credit card!
Jenny called Phlu who called me and said, hey want to go to Holy land experience and DTD? and I am like sure. So we camped out at Jenny's house in Spring hill (yeah i know long drive) and the parrots she has are noisy but i slept well. I was sort of hoarse in the morning but me and Wes were killing the cimminion rolls and watching CS lewis' LWW the cartoon version. :)
Due to unforseen circustances, the holyland experience was cancelled. I have mixed emotions on the holy land experience.... me and norma had a good time (dr. strange look-a-like in the BA exhibit :) ) and the cool model city!! and the scripturum is very cool but some times I feel i am in a simpsons episode.
we picked Dark jedi Steve and others and went to Downtown Disney. After a couple of u-turns and went the wrong exit early, we all finally made it. The group got separated. I was with Ruthy and Linda while the rest went together (I think). Phlu was connected at the hip to the pin store. he kept going back there all day. He says " I got a few pins traded and bought a couple. I also bought a longsleeve shirt and a Figment plushie (he's so cute!)." I got my photo taken in front of these lego sculptures that were so exquistite a dragon and a whole family with dogs-they looked like real people just pixelized. :)I also got a picture in front of this tinkertoy sculpture -memories!!! steve and richard drooled over star wars stuff and the model disney tram sets and the store had view finders and they had chocolate and i brought some -no tiaras through. they had everything there-mickey honey chocolate and coffee and shot glasses. We went to Disney quest but it was 35.00 and COFS was 70 and the clubs were thiry or so dollars! So we just went back to the earl of sandwich -excellent sandwiches and shakes and watched a jazz band Play "in the mood" and swing music. There was also a group of carolers who sounded great and they sang "god rest ye merry gentleman and dressed in victorian wear and acted somewhat robotic but it was cool. Phlu says" Later in the day, there was a miscommunication with the other group and basically, it didn't end as what I expected. Ruthy thinks everyone doesn't like her, which I don't believe. Jenny is crying cuz Ruthy is unhappy. I hugged Jenny before I leave, saying that I did have fun and enjoy the time today. I did too! So Ruthy, Linda, and I went back to Chapel Center and we were exhausted (at least I am since I'm the one who drove). And I went home and my dad was surprised to see me early. :) sigh. grin.
