let's see, this weekend was pretty much nothing short of amazing. My parents let me spend the night at a friend's house. a male friend's house. a non-straight male friend's house. =D They asked me if I was planning on him being my boyfriend or if he was my boyfriend. I told them no, seeing as we kind of dated way back when but now we are just best friends. It was nice to get away from it all. I mean other then my Chicago trip last spring break with Sara, I haven't spent the night away from my house since August of my junior year, long time, I know. Now you all know why I say I go insane at my house. Anyways being away was amazing, and for the first time in a very long time I felt safe. I haven't felt that security of, "everything will be alright," in a long time. that was nice. I am finally piecing things together the way they should be.
I went and saw Children of Men. It was good. Very juxtaposed. My brother told me he thought the ending was stupid and they could have done a better job. I replied, "How else could they end this? They can't. It is left exactly where it was meant to be left...it gives hope in the chaos." New hope, rebirth..it's a good movie. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
My speed test is improving. By the time we go up, it is going to sound so cool! =]
