trip changed and rearranged...
you know what sucks? having to cancel a trip to san diego and miss out on your friend's wedding because of a financial situation i find myself in...and chalupa too...we really lead parallel lives sometimes...
it's called: someone owes us money and they ain't payin'...and ten bucks says they probably won't...
so we have ressurected the fact that we need to travel and are looking to maybe hit up miami during the cold months of winter (should this all work out). perhaps we'll do the WMC next year...i don't necessarily need to go to the conference (well, it'd be nice but it's a $1,000 registration fee that i don't have...if memory serves me correctly), but checking out some good parties would definitely make me uber happy!
in the interim...i'm focusing on going to boston...FINALLY! i'll get one of my bonuses in july and will pay off two of my credit cards and use the leftover money for traveling purposes. i'll finally get up there to see morallybass, disco_vixen, diamondsea, and (my new friend in boston) heinousbiotch. it's been LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG overdue...and if i get up there, i'll NEED to hit up NYC again. hopefully if i go in early fall, melanie will already be there, so i could definitely stay with her and have another fabulous time in the city!
