whoopeeeeeeeeeee!!!
tonight, it's off to smartbar to help miles ring in his birthday with a bang! i haven't seen that boy since november...so it'll be a treat to see him and just kick it. i wound up getting my sister, her friend tamara, and myself in on the guestlist, thanks to a scenester named lee (whom i get to meet tonight).
tomorrow it's off to hoghead mcdunna's to check out analog theory. they're a band that i've had on my myspace page for a long time and i've been talking with the drummer for a good chunk of that time, so it'll be nice to finally meet him and check out the band. the show starts at 9 PM...so if we're not feeling the vibe of the night, we'll be able to still make the most of the night by hopping around the bars in that area. doug and jessica seemed to think they might want to come check out the band as well! sweet!
saturday it's off to the rivera to see the faint and bright eyes. i can't even friggin' wait!
of course, we're going to be doing silly tourist things in the interim. i have tomorrow off and jessica is supposed to come with alissa, tamara, and i while we go through the city being idiots. should be fun.
it's always a good time when people come to visit AND i get to meet new people...that's what this life is about...the people IN your life!
