Kathleen Hanna (lead singer of Bikini Kill) wrote "Kurt Smells Like Teen Spirit" on Kurt Cobain's wall while they were dating. Not knowing Teen Spirit was the name of Kathleen Hanna's deodorant, Kurt later used the title 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' for a song.

I think I am ready to have something else going on in my daily activities.
You know, something in addition to staying at home with my daughter all day.
I love (love) getting to be a stay-at-home mommy, I just need to get out for a couple of hours now and again.

Life would be so much easier if we had two vehicles.

One year ago today, I gave birth to the best thing that has ever happened in my life.

Happy 1st Birthday to my darling Rebecca Ruth.
Thank you for the lessons, laughs and love.
You have filled my heart so completely.

The apartment is officially gone.
We moved the last of it all into the new place yesterday (it's fun maneuvering around piles.)
This morning felt new and fresh.

Ruth's Big First Birthday is only 2 weeks away.
Can we believe it? Absolutely not.
There is so much to do in the following weeks.

We're moving into a bigger place, starting next weekend.
On the way back from paying the deposit we saw a turtle, a rabbit, and a squirrel within 2 minutes of each other.

I'm not one for believing in signs but I'll take that as one anyway. :)

I think I will start blogging again.
I think I will start making some entries public again.
I think I will no longer automatically send my Tweets here.

Because I <3 whoever still reads my LJ.
